NewSouth Books would like to congratulate Micheline Jenner on winning the Australian Geographic Society’s 2017 Lifetime of Conservation Award. The award was announced at an official ceremony on 1 November in Sydney.
Mich and her husband, Curt, were honoured for their long careers in marine biology. They head up the Centre for Whale Research in WA and, between them, have studied everything about whales, from population biology and migratory pathways to ecology and behaviour.
Mich Jenner’s book, The Secret Life of Whales (9781742235547), is a November 2017 publication from NewSouth.
